Well here it
is...my new website.
Who am I, and why do I need a website?
To tell you the truth, besides for testing purposes, I don't really have a need for a personal website.
I put this together to teach myself how to use RapidWeaver for content creation and publishing. I purchased RapidWeaver to create a new site for my consulting business, cybology Consulting (soon to be ifixmac.com). I had been working on re-learning what I knew about Dreamweaver. I was getting frustrated at how long it took, and how much work it was to update a site once you had it together. I kinda gave up for awhile. I started looking for someone to create the site for me. Having someone else create your site is a problem if you want to add/update content yourself...Now you have to learn how it was created...etc. Nope not for me. So after listening to several podcasters rave about this application called

RapidWeaver, I figured
I would check it out. I downloaded the demo
and tried to make a page. I did not like the
application at first. I did not feel I could
customize the page as much as i wanted.
Being as lazy as I am I wanted to get
started as fast as possible with as little
work. I realized needed a little training. I
went to ScreenCastsOnline.com.
There were several free videos online. I spent
most of the afternoon watching these videos.
After watching them I knew enough about the
application and several plug-ins to get
started.
I bought RapidWeaver, a Theme, some Plug-Ins, and RWmultitool.
Thats Right I bought them all.
So far I am very happy with all of the software.
*Special Note*
MultiThemes, the company I purchased my theme and RWmultiTool from, has stellar customer support. I had an problem using the application. Sent an e-mail at 12amCDT. I went to bed, when I woke there was a solution in my inbox.....ON a Sunday no less.....AWESOME
